Our Fall Recreation season is for the
recreational player who is either just learning to play the
game or has played it for a number of years. The program is
set up in single (combined into 2yrs when necessary), co-ed
age groups starting at U5 (4yrs old on or before 7/31/09)
and continuing until U14 (13yrs old on or before 7/31/09).
The fall season starts the last Saturday in August and
continues through the second Sunday in November, with Labor
Day & Columbus Day weekends off. Most age groups play games
on Saturdays between 8:30am and 4:30pm, U13/14 plays on
Sunday mornings (9:30am to 1:30pm). The schedule rotates so
teams do not play the same time every week. For the initial
couple of weeks of the season, the teams will also play one
game a week on a weeknight in order to allow the children to
play one or two additional games while we still have
daylight in the evening. All games are played at North
Elementary School in Somerset. The teams will have practice
once or twice a week in the evening, at the coach’s
discretion.
